Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee marketing events and public relations strategies, ensuring alignment with our overarching goals.
- Conceptualize and execute innovative event initiatives, managing all aspects from inception to completion.
- Manage budgets, invoicing, contracts, and vendor negotiations to ensure the success of our events.
- Coordinate all logistical elements of events, including venue selection, stage management, and speaker arrangements.
- Collaborate closely with team members on branding, communication, and PR initiatives, including the creation of press releases and securing media exposure.
- Develop promotional content, including website pages, email campaigns, social media postings, and event registration materials.
- Identify and leverage networking opportunities to represent the organization effectively.
- Conduct media monitoring within the industry and disseminate actionable insights from Share of Voice analysis.
- Serve as the organization’s representative at events, managing on-site media interactions and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Stay abreast of both local and global trends in cryptocurrency, blockchain, and Web3, implementing best practices accordingly.
Required Skills
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in event management, public relations, communications, or media relations, preferably within the fintech, cryptocurrency, or Web3 sectors.
- Proven track record in writing and distributing press releases and achieving media coverage.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a comprehensive understanding of both global and local media environments.
- Strong project management skills, demonstrating the capacity to juggle multiple projects, adhere to tight deadlines, and deliver measurable results.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Twitter Spaces and Discord is highly advantageous.
- A solid foundation in DeFi, blockchain, and cryptocurrencies is an added benefit.
- Flexibility to travel for events and meetups, along with a passion for deepening knowledge in the crypto and Web3 domains.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
